We are excited to announce that we will be traveling to Melut, South
Sudan next year with an agency called SIM (Serving In
Mission). Our anticipated date of departure
is January 2013.
We will be joining the SIM team in the town of Melut, South Sudan. Melut is home to the Gideon Theological College,
where students
are trained and educated. SIM is partnering with the local community to improve
the facilities and impact of the college.
David
will be investing in the community as he works with local crews on the construction and project management needed to improve the
facilities. It will be hard work but we are excited to be a small part of rebuilding the newest country in the world!
I remember your blog from Niger, it was so wonderful and thoughtful. You write beautifully and I look forward to this! Thank you for sharing this upcoming journey in your lives! May God continue to bless the Heskas!
